Day 32

WE GOT TO GO ON A SAFARI.

And our host blessed us with this trip. He surprised us.

Catch up! Day 30

Day 30

We visited Mission for Homeless Children and Jourdan University today.

We were able to talk with Mr. Simba, the founder of Mission for Homeless Children (MHC), for over an hour. We were able to learn how he received the vision for this orphanage, the difficulties that come with it, and the incredible blessing that God has poured out on the orphanage.

After we talked with him we visited with the kids for a little while, we were able to sit in on one of the daily lessons from the bible! So encouraging! 

Than after that we went to Jourdan University. Timmy brought the word, and we stayed and prayed with them.

God is giving us many challenges, but he is giving us the strength to meet those challenges. 

Day 21 Villages

Day 21

We visited another village about an hour and a half away from Morogoro. This village was located very high up in the Uluguru Mountains. 

As you can see in this picture it was located in a very remote place. Some of the congregation has to walk 2-3 hours to get here for church meetings.

These buildings need to be replaced by stone buildings!

We were able to share a word from the bible with them, and pray with them before we left

It was so encouraging to see people praise the Lord no matter what their circumstances are
